Dmytro (place and dates of birth and death unknown) – confidant boyar of the Prince Danylo of Halych-Volyn.
In 1239, on the eve of the Mongol-Tatar invasion to South-Western Rus, Prince Danylo captured Kyiv and appointed boyar Dmytro his deputy, who headed the defence of the city in November – December 1240.
Voivode Dmytro was so brave in his fight against the enemy that Batu Khan saved him, badly wounded, his life “for his courage” (according to the Halych-Volyn Chronicle). His subsequent fate is unknown.
